How to replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

In order to change the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor, empty the engine coolant and remove the electrical connector of the sensor that is situated close to the radiator hose upper. Take out the sensor, install the new sensor, re-connect the electrical connector and refill the engine coolant.
