How to replace the dimmer switch on 2001 Chevrolet Metro?

To access the dimmer switch replace it, switch off the SIR system and unscrew the knee bolster. Disconnect dimmer control connector, and take off dimmer control off left garnish trim panel. To install, reconnect dimmer control and make sure that the clip is connected and then re-install the knee bolster and activate the SIR system.
