How to replace the canister purge valves on 2001 Chevrolet Express 3500?

In order to change the Evap canister purge valves, unconnect the negative battery cable and the purge solenoid connector. Take the purge solenoid out of the intake manifold, and re-install and use retaining nuts. Put in place purge solenoid connector and negative battery cable again.
