How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 on 2001 Cadillac Seville?

To replace this heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) bank 2 sensor 1, make sure that the temperature rise in motor is more than 48 °C (120 °F) for removal purpose. Apply anti-seize compound p/n 5613695 or an equivalent to the threads of a reused sensor since the new service sensors are pre-coated. Start by lifting the vehicle and lifting it up before detaching the air deflector. Pull off the front Oxygen Sensor electrical connector and remove the front Oxygen Sensor from the front Exhaust Manifold. For installation, the front Oxygen Sensor should be inserted into the front Exhaust Manifold and be tightened to 41 n.m (30 lb ft). Reattach the front Oxygen Sensor electrical connector, air deflector, and then lower the vehicle.
