How to replace the rear automatic motor and transmission mount on 2001 Cadillac Seville?

Begin by lifting and supporting the vehicle before starting rear automatic transmission mount replacement work. Position the engine assembly using an appropriate jack before removing the nuts which secure the transmission mount to the transmission mount bracket. After lifting the engine assembly a small amount clear the engine frame using a jack to extract the bolts which secure the mount to the frame. Secure the new mount onto position using its attaching bolts and nut before applying torque up to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.). Install the transmission into place while tightening new mount nuts to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.). After completing the procedure remove the support jack for the engine assembly then slowly lower the vehicle.
