How to replace the EGR valve on 2001 Cadillac Eldorado?

In order to install the EGR valve, one has to disconnect the electrical connector and strip the retaining nuts/bolts. Check and remove contamination of the EGR passages. Unscrew the EGR valve, clean the mounting surface and replace the old one with a new valve and a gasket. Insert the nuts/bolts and reconnect the electrical connector.
