The beginning of sway bar link servicing with RPO FE1 or FE3 requires a supported vehicle at a raised position. Initiate the procedure by uninstalling the sway bar link bolt and nut before taking out all sway bar link washers as well as insulators and spacer. Install the sway bar link insulators along with washers and spacer and nut and bolt according to the specified position. To install the link system lower the vehicle first after tightening the sway bar link nut to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
