How to replace the Hood Cable on 2001 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to install a Hood Primary Latch Cable, one opens the hood, removes the upper filler panel. Installation will require disconnection of the hood release cable to the latch and tying of a string around the cable. Take out the front wheel house liner, the hood release handle and repeat the string procedure. Lastly, re-fit and close hood.
