How to replace the left air temperature sensor in the HVAC module on 2001 Cadillac Catera?

Replacing the left Air Temperature Sensor within the hvac module requires removing the l/h sound insulator and front floor air outlet from the module. The lh Air Temperature Sensor can be found immediately above where floor air outlets join the hvac module. The electrical connector needs to be disconnected from the Air Temperature Sensor by using a flat bladed tool and then the sensor requires a 180-degree rotation before its careful extraction from the hvac module. Start by inserting a new Air Temperature Sensor in the hvac module after a 180 degree turn and then join the sensor with the electrical connector. Reinstall the front floor air outlet together with the l/h sound insulator.
