How to replace the EGR valve on 2001 Buick Regal?

In order to change exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve, one will shut off the ignition and electrical connector. Take out the retaining nuts and the EGR valve and clean the adapter. Install a new gasket, EGR valve, tighten the nuts and reconnect electrical connector.
