How to service and repair the muffler on 2001 Buick LeSabre?

In order to repair and service the muffler, lift and hold the vehicle. Cut the exhaust pipe towards the muffler, unscrew the rear exhaust hanger nut and extract the muffler. Grease the tail pipe hanger rod to make it easy to take off. Install the exhaust pipe and the muffler and screw up the clamps.
