  A: The first step to replace the rear side Door Hinge starts by opening both rear and front doors before detaching the door trim panel followed by the water deflector and center pillar garnish molding. The door wire harness must be separated from the body wire harness and the door wire harness connector should be withdrawn from the center pillar. First installers must eliminate the door check link fasteners from the pillar and detach the intermediate hinge fasteners from both hinges. The assistance team should raise the door until they can remove it while marking both the door hinges and the body with a grease pencil. After removing the hinge fasteners they can proceed with door removal. Secure the studplate inside the door while separating the hinge half to prevent it from dropping. Position the body half of the hinge at the pillar marks then fasten it while tightening the hinge to body fasteners to 35 n.m (26 lb ft).
