Return the electrical connector to its place while applying white lithium grease GM P/N 9985885 or equivalent to the socket. Install the wiper transmission onto the crank arm beyond the second detent to squeeze the seal to 25.5 mm but not more than 1 inch in height. Insert the Transmission Wiper Installer tool on the crank arm ball of the wiper motor to finish the installation. Replace the air inlet grille panel with the wiper arms.
