First you should remove the wheel together with tire followed by taking off the caliper and rotor. Chop the shoe off from the actuation mechanism followed by cleaning all park brake components using a clean towel to remove any debris and dust. Adjust the turning screw until it hits the notched adjustment nut home position and afterwards, rotate it 1/4 turn away from this point to achieve parallel slots relative to the backing plate face.
