How to Properly Maintain the Center Link on 2000 GMC Jimmy?

In order to service and repair the center link, raise the vehicle using safety stands, remove steering linkage shield and differential carrier shield and disassemble each ball joint. Check and clean threads, and insert the idler arm, pitman arm ball studs, making sure there are seals. Install back the shields and adjust the front toe where necessary.
