How to remove and replace the Body Control Module (BCM) on 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe?

In order to access the Body Control Module (BCM), loosen the negative battery connection and loosen the knee bolster. When connecting with the ignition switch be sure the switch is off. Check current draws with scan tool. Disconnect all the connectors, take out the BCM and install it and reprogram where necessary.
