How to service and repair the Wiper Pivot on 2000 Chevrolet Prizm?

In order to maintain the wiper motor connection, detach the air inlet screen and the bolts that hold the windshield wiper transmission to the bulkhead before removing the wiper motor. Reinsert the transmission into the hole and re screw the motor, being sure to follow the instructions on the Fastener Notice and ensuring the bolts are not loosened. Install air inlet screen again.
