To service mass air flow (MAF) sensor, first, you will remove the electrical connector from the maf sensor , then remove the two maf sensor fasteners and pull out maf sensor from the air cleaner housing. Next, remove the o-ring . For installation, put a new o-ring on the maf sensor, and then slide the maf sensor back into the air cleaner housing. Secure the maf sensor on the throttle body using the 2 fasteners, tighten them to 2 n.m (26 lb in), and reattach the maf sensor electrical connector.
