How to service the PG260 F1 starter motor on 2000 Chevrolet Lumina?

In order to service the PG260 F1 starter motor, loosen the negative battery cable and lift up the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical, remove torque converter cover, and starter bolts. Make sure that you replace the one with a PG260 F1, re-install the starter bolts and tighten them. Make electrical contacts, then reconnect battery cable, reconnect lower the vehicle and reconnect electrical contacts.
