The first step when replacing the p/s return line requires placing a drain pan under the vehicle to contain draining power steering fluid. The power steering return hose has to be removed from the Power Steering Pump and the power steering lines retaining bracket on the engine and the power steering cooler pipe before you can take out the hose from the vehicle. Before installation begin by fitting the power steering return hose first before attaching it to the power steering cooler pipe and engagement with retaining bracket on the engine then move forward to the Power Steering Pump. Proper operation requires a power steering system fill-up followed by bleeding procedures.
