How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch on 2000 Chevrolet Express 3500?

In order to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch, disconnect the negative battery cable and disconnect the air cleaner assembly. Discharge the pressure in the cooling system and empty it below the sensor of ECT. Unconnect the sensor harness and take off the sensor and put it up with sealer. Fill up the cooling system and link the battery.
