How to install the multifunction turn signal switch assembly to the steering column assembly on 2000 Chevrolet Corvette?

In order to install the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly onto Steering Column assembly, the electrical contact must be resting on the turn signal cancel cam assembly. Fit the two pan head tapping screws and tighten them by 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Pass the wire harness assembly through the Steering Column jacket assembly and mount the wire harness assembly into the wire harness strap. Reference the proper steering assembly application notes and install new wire harness straps to the Steering Column assembly and the column. Install the upper and lower Steering Column trim covers.
