2000 Chevrolet Corvette Oil Pressure Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to service the Oil Pressure Switch for the Fuel Pump on 2000 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: The service process for the Oil Pressure Switch of the Fuel Pump starts with removing the Intake Manifold and disconnecting the engine oil pressure (EOP) sensor electrical connector. Before reinstalling you should clean the area around the eop sensor to avoid contaminants from reaching into the engine. Install the new eop sensor after removing the old one by applying torque to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Reinstall the Intake Manifold after you reconnect the electrical connector to the eop sensor.
