2000 Chevrolet Camaro Power Steering Reservoir Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace a Power Steering Reservoir on 2000 Chevrolet Camaro?
A: Before replacing the Remote Power Steering Reservoir you need to position a drain pan underneath it. Pull off the cap from the reservoir before you disconnect the reservoir from its bracket. Start the replacement task by removing the reservoir and outlet hoses (4,6) from the reservoir. Installation requires connecting the reservoir and outlet hoses back to their appropriate positions on the reservoir followed by restraining the reservoir onto the bracket. Place the drain pan underneath then refill the reservoir before putting a new cap on it, then empty the drain pan afterward. Power steering system bleeding must be performed as a final step.
