How to service and repair the starter motor on 2000 Cadillac Seville?

To service the starter motor, a battery negative cable should be disconnected and the intake manifold removed. To take out the starter, un-hook the wire off the starter and un-screw the mounting bolts. Install the wire and battery cable, screw the nuts and install the intake manifold again.
