For servicing and repair on the Dimmer Switch start with the Turn Signal Switch assembly being in the "up" position with the Steering Column being at the 12 o' clock position by placing the key in the off/lock position, pulling it out and turning the Steering Shaft clockwise until it clicks. Make sure to secure the Steering Column using the modular column holding fixture (J 41352). Then, remove the harness wire's assembly from the hard strap and inspect the Steering Column to detect if there any accident damages. Remove the hexagon nut at the Ignition Switch assembly prior to unhooking the Dimmer Switch connector from the Dimmer Switch assembly. After this, pull out the Dimmer Switch rod, remove the tort washer head screw, and finally pull out the Dimmer Switch assembly.
