  A: Begin servicing the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor with a first step to switch off the ignition and remove the fuel injection sight shield. The pcv valve cover now requires disconnecting the MAP Sensor's electrical connection to perform service. Gently deforming the locking tabs which binds the MAP Sensor to the pcv valve cover allows sensor removal before extracting the MAP Sensor directly from the pcv valve cover. During installation check that both the MAP Sensor seal and component remain intact. Apply the MAP Sensor to the pcv valve cover by verifying that locking tabs connect correctly to protect the sensor. Complete your installation by connecting and securing the MAP Sensor electrical connector followed by putting back the fuel injection sight shield.
